This is the LA première! Dust & Illusions has toured the country slowly since 2009, and has filled every single theater where it was shown. For the 1st time, a documentary about Burning Man looked at the history, a lot of it missing from the official twist. It is also the only film out of multiple dozens of them that actually brings a critical look at an event often described as very open-minded. Come and learn the true history, and look at how the largest counter-cultural event has now become a multi-million dollar business.

The DIRECTOR will be in attendance for Q&A. Tickets will soon be available through the American Cinematheque’s website. Early booking recommended, as this show will sell out quickly.
